Mrs. Mac teaches 8^th grade ELA. This is her 3rd year teaching at Sky Ranch and her 17^th year of teaching. She loves the SF Giants, Indian food, and being outdoors (when it’s not toasty hot and smokey). She has a zoo at home: 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, fish, snails, a husband, and two spirited and kind kids. Mrs. Mac graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno and is a 4^th generation Nevadan. She is a book and bookstore nerd. She loves teaching middle schoolers because there is rarely a dull day! Mrs. Mac’s favorite quote is “Promise me you will always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think” (Christopher Robin from Winnie the Pooh).
