Reading is required nightly for success in all subjects! In ELA class, students are expected to read individually chosen novels for each quarter. Students will engage in literature groups and participation is required. The process will include nightly reading and response logs, bi-weekly book club meetings and discussions based on certain topics (which change each quarter), and deep, reflective assignments. During ELA class, we will visit the library at least once per quarter to assist students in choosing their novels. However, students may visit and check out books from our amazing Sky Ranch library any time during the school week.
