Seniors
Senior year goes fast! Here are some tips and suggestions for a successful transition:
- If you are planning to attend UNR next fall, you should apply now. https://www.unr.edu/apply
- You must have your application completed no later than February 1st if you want to be considered for the new freshman scholarship. https://www.unr.edu/Documents/student-services/financial-aid/19-20%20Freshmen%20Scholarship%20Award%20Levels%20Matrix.pdf
- You will need to order a High School Transcript: https://washoeschoolsnv.scriborder.com/
- You will need to have a college transcript sent: https://www.tmcc.edu/admissions/downloads Look for Transcript Request about half way down this page.
- In May you need to request a final high school and college transcript.
- All of the above apply if you are applying to any other college. The longer you wait to apply the better chance there is that your application will have issues that take longer to resolve and this can affect your ability to earn a merit scholarship. You are applying as a new freshman unless you have spoken to a college recruiter and found there is a reason to apply as a transfer student.
