  • Overview

The video production program at Spanish Springs High School, part of the C3 Media Academy, is one of the premier secondary CTE video production programs in the State of Nevada. Students that complete the program will have learned valuable job skills that will help them in the film industry, television industry, or in their post-secondary education. Alumni from the C3 Media Academy are spread across the country, working in video-related jobs in every industry, from sports to news, and more.

To complete our program students are required to take Video Production I, II, and III. In addition to these classes, students are also required to take a State of Nevada Video Production test, and a State of Nevada Workplace Readiness test.

Students also have the option to enroll in our live production lab after they successfully complete Video Production I. In the live production lab, students work together to create daily live content.

Students that are Seniors and have completed Video Production III have the option to enroll in Video Production Advanced Studies. Advanced Studies students work with real clients to create content that is used in the real world. Clients include the Washoe County School District, the State of Nevada, JTS Clothing, JTNN, and other great local partners.
