We’ve got some fresh Greenhouse and Community Garden news, and we’d love to seed a conversation with you!
As you probably heard, we’ve postponed the Annual Plant Sale this year to focus on year-round growing initiatives.
To kick things off, we’re hosting a casual Gerlach Greenthumbs Coffee Huddle—and you’re invited! Whether you’re a seasoned grower, a curious beginner, or someone who just enjoys being around plants and good people, we hope to see you there.
Date: Saturday, June 14
Time: 8:00 AM
Location: Gerlach K-12 MultiPurpose Room-
Coffee served
-
Tour the Greenhouse & Nursery/Seedling Room
-
Learn how you can get involved in our year-round growing project

This will be a relaxed, no-pressure get-together with time to ask questions, share ideas, and see how you might want to plug in.
Thanks for rooting for us. We can’t wait to dig in and grow something beautiful with you.

Gerlach K–12 SchoolP.S. Ms. Julie’s preschool class has been growing spinach and lettuce in the Community Garden, and we’ve packed up a few small bags to share with the community. You can pick one up at Bruno’s this Friday at 11:00 AM, while supplies last.
Big thanks to Hannah Peach at Empire Farms for adding Swiss chard from her garden to the mix—and to Ms. Julie (who you’ll often find behind the counter at Bruno’s) and her tiny-but-mighty gardeners for making it happen!
