Welcome to the 24-25 School Year
Hello Inskeep Families! We are excited for school to begin on Monday, August 12, and to see all of our students again. If you are new to Inskeep, Welcome!
Below is a video with the Kiss and Go Procedures or how-to drop off and pick up kiddos. The main things to know are not to park in the drop-off lanes and to pull all the way forward.
Breakfast has changed from 9:00 to 9:10 and will go on until 9:25. Students will go directly to the playground and enter the multi-purpose room from the playground for anyone wanting breakfast. This means we do not need to use Door 7 like we did before.
The meal policy in the district has changed for Inskeep. New this year, we are no longer free and reduced lunch, which is a bummer! Families can apply for free or reduced lunch and we highly encourage you to do so regardless of your income status. Charges for breakfast will be $2 and lunch will be $3.25 starting after Labor Day weekend. You can apply online by visiting: https://rocket.washoeschools.net/.
Students can find out who their classroom teacher will be by visiting the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Teachers return tomorrow (Aug. 6) and will be setting up their Class Dojo accounts in the next few days so you may get that information sooner.
We will have a Back-to-School Blacktop Party on Tuesday, August 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 with classroom visits, food trucks, and opportunities to visit with different families and teachers. We are not hosting a meet n’ greet this year as the majority of our students know where to line up and how to move about the building.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Dr. Sue Egloff, Principal
