• Hello Inskeep Families,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Michael Inskeep Elementary School! As the first Principal of Inskeep, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share my excitement about opening a new school. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with our families, our highly dedicated staff, and most importantly, our students.

I am originally from Iowa where I was born and raised. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!) and taught for six years before moving to Las Vegas. While in the Clark County School District, I worked as a classroom teacher, Learning Strategist, and Assistant Principal over the course of nine years. During this time, I earned my Doctorate degree from Walden University. My family moved to Reno and I was privileged to be the Principal at Stead Elementary School for five years (Go High Flyers!).

It is my goal to create lasting traditions at Inskeep ES by providing a positive, safe, and high-quality education for all students. I am committed to fostering a community of respect where all voices are valued, and decisions are made with the students' best interest at heart. I am a firm believer parents are their child’s first and longest lasting teacher, which means we get to create a positive team-oriented relationship with all of our families for years to come. I am also community oriented at my core and look forward to the post-Covid days where our campus will be open for many events. Until then, we will share as much as we can virtually.

I look forward to meeting you and creating an exciting year together.

    Dr. Sue Egloff
