• Hello Inskeep Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Michael Inskeep Elementary School! As the Principal of Inskeep, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share my excitement about going into year three of opening a new school. We learned a lot in our first two years and are committed to having more communication, sharing more about school procedures, and continuing our open-door policy.

I am originally from Iowa where I was born and raised. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!) and taught for six years before moving to Las Vegas. While in the Clark County School District, I worked as a classroom teacher, Learning Strategist, and Assistant Principal over the course of nine years. During this time, I earned my Doctorate degree from Walden University. My family moved to Reno and I was privileged to be the Principal at Stead Elementary School for five years (Go High-Flyers!).

It is my goal to create lasting traditions at Inskeep ES by providing a positive, safe, and high-quality education for all students. I am committed to fostering a community of respect where all voices are valued, and decisions are made with the students' best interests at heart. I am a firm believer that parents are their child’s first and longest-lasting teachers, which means we get to create a positive team-oriented relationship with all of our families for years to come. I am also community-oriented at my core and look forward to opening our doors for many events this year.

I am honored to have the opportunity to work with our families, our highly dedicated staff, and most importantly, our students.  I look forward to an exciting year together.

    Respectfully,

    Dr. Sue Egloff
