    Dear Winnemucca Wolves:

    Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Sarah Winnemucca! We are so excited that you are here with us! As you may already know, Winnemucca is an incredibly special place to learn and thrive. We value hard work, compassion, creativity, and collaboration to ensure a respectful, kind, and safe learning community for all.

    One of our main goals this year is to promote a schoolwide culture where everyone feels heard, appreciated, and valued for the unique qualities they bring to our community. We seek to build strong community relationships so that every member of our community feels welcomed and appreciated for who they are, as well as celebrate the amazing strengths every member brings to our community.

    Another thing you should know about Winnemucca is that we love our parents and families! Please join us for various evening events this year to build connections with our school and staff, and to meet other families. The dates and times of the events are included in our calendar, and there are quite a few events to choose from! We would love to see you there.

    Additionally, I am so excited to partner with our established Winnemucca PTO! We appreciate their support and all the love they have shown to our school. Please plan to attend PTO meetings or volunteer for fundraisers and/or events! Parent involvement enriches parent and student positive experiences in school.
