    Picture Day

Since our Picture Day was cancelled due to being a "Smoke Day," it has been rescheduled for FRIDAY, October 23. If your child is a distance learner, please make sure you bring your child to Towles for Picture Day between 9:00 and 10:30am. You will have to wait outside or in your car because we can only have 3 people wait in our lobby. For in school learners, they will get their picture taken when the photographer calls their class to the cafeteria. Everyone gets their picture taken, even if you choose not to purchase school pictures. If you wish to purchase school pictures, you can pay for the package on-line at myifetouch.com and enter this code: EVTNKNB72. You can also send in a check or cash along with the envelope where you mark what package you are purchasing.

    WCSD COVID-19 Policy

The policy states that if your child complains of one of the several COVID-19 symptoms, they must be excluded from in-person learning for 10 calendar days. The symptoms that will exclude your child are: fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, stomach ache, chest pain, difficulty breathing, smell and taste disorders, chills, muscle aches, vomiting, and diarrhea.

It is not required that your child get a COVID-19 test. But if you do, and the test is negative, please call our school nurse and your child will be allowed back at school before the 10 day minimum exclusion. While on the 10 day exclusion, your child will be placed on temporary distance learning. Please talk to your child's teacher about how to participate in distance learning. Your child will not be marked absent for the 10 days as long as they participate in distance learning or complete the make up work assigned by their classroom teacher.

Please be kind to our clinical aide and secretary when they review this policy with you after your child has complained of one or more of these symptoms. They are just delivering the message.
