24-25 Welcome Letter
Our goal is for parents to be well-informed regarding their children's education.
Our motto for the 24-25 school year is “Elmcrest Dragons – we show up: Every day counts, every dragon matters!” Consistent attendance lays the foundation for your academic success and future achievements. Every day you spend in school is an investment in your knowledge, skills, and opportunities. Stay committed, stay focused, and watch how each day brings you closer to your goals.
Below you will find information on each grade level for the 24-25 school year:

Friday, October 18 - Thursday, October 24 - Conference Week, school dismissed at 12:50 EVERY DAY!
Friday, October 25 - Nevada Day NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, October 29 - Trunk or Treat Event!
Registration
Online Registration is OPEN for the 24/25 school year! All students must have their registration completed/updated every school year. Your infinite campus parent portal page contains the link that will allow you to access the registration. Remember, one registration per household. This includes all students currently enrolled in WCSD. Infinite campus link here!
If you have a new Incoming Kindergarten student to the district, make sure to add their information by clicking on the ADD NEW STUDENT link on the students' information page. Once complete, please Provide the following:
- Registration application number
- Birth Certificate
- Shot Records
- Proof Of Residency (water bill, Power Bill, Lease agreement etc. w/ Guardians name)
- Proof of attending Pre-K (if a child is NOT 5 years old by August 1, 2024) *
If you have never logged on to your parent portal or need your password reset, please contact the office staff. Also, please let us know if you don't have internet access so we can assist you in completing the registration.
Las inscripciones para el nuevo año escolar 24/25 ya están abiertas. Todos los estudiantes deben de completar/actualizar su informacion cada año. Su página de parent portal en infinant campus contiene un link que le dara acceso a la oficina lo mas pronto posible. Recuerde que es una inscripción por familia, la cual incluye a todos estudiantes que asisten a cualquier escuela perteneciente al distrito escolar
Si tiene un estudiante que comenzara kinder el próximo año, asegúrese de anadir esta informacion haciendo click en ANADIR NUEVO ESTUDIANTE en la página que contiene la informacion de los estudiantes. Al terminar la inscripción, pasa a la oficina con él:
- Numero de aplicacion
- Acta de naciemiento
- Cartilla de Vacunas
- Comprobante de domicilio (Recibo de la luz, agua, o comprobante de renta)
- Comprobante de que istio a pre kinder (si estudiante no cumple los 5 anos del 1 de agosto, 2024)

Elmcrest Elementary School has been selected to transition to Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for SY 24-25. As part of the CEP program, all students will have access to free breakfast and lunch meals for the entire school year. This also eliminates the requirement to fill out meal applications. Breakfast will be served in the classroom during morning announcements and lunch will be in the cafeteria as usual.Thank you!Mission:
