    IT IS TIME TO REGISTER YOUR STUDENT(S) FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR! 

    Online Registration is now open. Click here if you are registering a returning student. Please contact the office at 775-857-3150 if your student(s) will NOT be returning to our school next year.

    IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE WASHOE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW:

     
     
    KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION: Kindergarten registration begins on Monday Feb 12th. Parents need to register online and bring into the office: 
    1. Students birth certificate 
    2. Immunization records
    3. Utility bill for proof of address.
     
    For returning students, please follow the instructions:  
     

    1. Log into the Parent Portal

    2. Put in your username and password – if you don’t remember your username/password, please call the office and we will look it up for you (857-3150);

    3. Once in your portal account, look at the index on the left or the "more" tab and it will say Online Registration; click there;

    4. Go thru the entire process following each screen and clicking on each line, verifying and/or changing the information as needed (every household, address, member, parent, emergency contact, etc);

    5. IF YOU HAVE A NEW KINDERGARTNER to register, once you have completed updating the information for your current student it says ADD NEW STUDENT;

    6. Click on that box and add all information concerning the new student;

    7. VERIFY all the information carefully before you click submit – once you click submit, you cannot go back and change anything.  You will need to contact the school for changes.

    8. Only natural parents/guardians can register students. If you are a blended family, and you do not see your step-child on the registration, the natural parent will need to go into their account and register their student. Contact the school if you need clarification or assistance. 

       

    SCHOOL CHOICE APPLICATIONS

    Applications for School of Choice for the next school year 24/25 are now open through Online Registration. If you are currently on a variance here at Hidden Valley Elementary School, you DO NOT need to apply for School of Choice for our school next year. You are grandfathered into our school through 5th grade. The School of Choice window is March 1st through March 15th. If you already applied in December 2023, you DO NOT need to apply again.
