School Performance Plan - Status Check 1
A school performance plan status check involves assessing the progress and effectiveness of our school's performance plan. This plan outlines specific goals, strategies, and actions to improve various aspects of the school's performance, such as academic achievement, student well-being, and overall school climate.
The Site Leadership Team is involved in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the performance plan, ensuring that it aligns with the school's objectives. Regular status checks involve reviewing data, conducting assessments, and gathering feedback to gauge the plan's success and identify areas for improvement. It's a crucial aspect of leadership to ensure that the school is on track to meet its goals and provide the best possible education for all students, including those in special education programs.

AB 219 Corrective Action Plan
AB 219 requires principals of public schools to establish a corrective action plan (CAP) for English learners (EL) who demonstrate low academic achievement. The law states that schools in the lowest 30% of achievement for ELs, based on the most recent annual report of the statewide system of accountability for public schools, must fulfill the CAP requirement. The CAP is designed to improve student outcomes.
