    Important information

    • School Hours: 9:25 – 3:30 (except Wednesday, school ends at 2:45)
    • Students are marked “TARDY” if they arrive to class after 9:30 (classes are working towards rewards for perfect attendance so please have your child to school by 9:25)
    • Student drop off at 9:10 (students may not arrive before 9:10)
    • All students can eat breakfast in the classroom at no cost. (served from 9:25-9:45 ONLY)
    • All students can eat lunch in the lunchroom at no cost. Students can and should bring lunch from home, if this is what they prefer to eat.
    • The yellow curb in the front is student drop off from 9:10 to 9:30 and pick up from 3:30 -3:50. Please NO parking in this area.

  • Coronavirus: What WCSD Families Need to Know

    As you may know, a number of countries are experiencing outbreaks of respiratory illness caused by a new “coronavirus” (COVID-19). This virus emerged in China in December 2019 and can be spread from person to person, when infected persons cough, sneeze, or touch surfaces after coughing or sneezing into their hands.

    It may take 2 to 14 days for a newly infected person to show signs of becoming ill.

    Currently, the immediate risk to the general public in Nevada and the United States is low. It’s important that

    you have accurate information about the spread of this disease, who is at risk, and what the symptoms are.

    The Washoe County School District (WCSD) is working with local and state health officials who are monitoring the situation in our county and across Nevada. Below are some links that will provide you with information.

    Coronavirus: lo que las familias del WCSD necesitan saber

    Como sabrán, varios países están experimentando brotes de enfermedades respiratorias causadas por un nuevo "coronavirus" (COVID-19). Este virus surgió en China en diciembre del 2019 y se puede transmitir de persona a persona, cuando las personas infectadas tosen, estornudan o tocan superficies después de toser o estornudar en sus manos.

    Puede tomar de 2 a 14 días para que una persona recién infectada muestre signos de enfermarse.

    Actualmente, el riesgo inmediato para el público en general en Nevada y los Estados Unidos es bajo. Es importante que tengan información precisa sobre la propagación de esta enfermedad, quiénes están en riesgo y cuáles son los síntomas.
