Elementary Schools

For the school year 2024-25, children must be five years of age on or before  August 1, 2024 in order to start kindergarten.

Here is where you will find all the information you need on how to get your Kindergartner registered for the upcoming 24-25 school year at Lenz.  Please call our office at 775-851-5620 with any questions. 

The first step is to complete the online registration by clicking here. If you already have another student enrolled in the Washoe County School District, you would log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal and submit the online registration with your existing student. Please print out the registration summary once it has been submitted.

Once you have completed the online registration, please bring the following documents to the Lenz front office:

• Child's certified Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Proof of Residency (mailed utility bill or lease agreement is preferred)
• Parent/Guardian's ID

When you bring in these documents you will then fill out a Registration Packet and sign up for a kindergarten assessment which will take place Aug. 12th- Aug. 14, 2024.

Student's will be assigned a teacher by the afternoon of Thursday, August 15th. 

First day for Kindergartners: Monday, August 19th, 2024.
