Lancer students – The book keeper is available to help all students before and after school, at lunch time, and in-between classes.  Remember, all students should be in class during class time.

Be a Good Neighbor—Attention Lancers! The management at the CVS store down the road are reporting their concern that some of our students have not been representing our school very well lately. If you go to CVS or any other local business during lunch, before or after school, please use respectful language and behavior, and clean up after yourselves. Failure to do so may result in our students being banned from that and other businesses. Please Lancers be good neighbors!

Hey Lancer Family! You must have an off-campus pass to leave school. The only exception is during lunch. Please check in at the office for a pass—you must have parental permission. If you are off-campus without a pass you are truant! If you get sick during the school day you should go to the health office. Please do not just go home!

Free Afterschool Tutoring: Lancers, do you need help with homework or a quiet place to study after school?  Feeling a little lost with that tricky Algebra concept or essay you’ve been working on?  Maybe you just need to work on your A+ course or complete that big research project you have due next week.  If you said yes to any of these questions, worry no more!  McQueen tutor Pablo wants to help you keep your grades on track.  Come see him for after school tutoring and study sessions in the Career Center once a week on Thursdays, from 2:35 until 4:00.  Everyone is welcome!

Personal Property on Campus--A reminder, Washoe County School District and McQueen High School are not responsible for items brought to campus that are lost or stolen.  To prevent loss of property, please remember to keep valuable items and money either securely locked, or even safer, leave them at home.  If you lose anything at school alert SRO right away.  Otherwise, keep it secure or at home!

Restricted Access during School Hours--An important reminder, for safety reasons students are not allowed to access any areas of the football field or other athletic fields, gyms, and facilities during school hours, including lunch.  Please remain out of these areas at all times.  Thank you.

Attention students – the condo units located directly across Lancer Street to the south of our school are private property.  Please be a good neighbor and refrain from walking through these areas.  Any students observed walking through these areas will be subject to consequences from SRO.”

No Students on Blue Tile Hallways during Lunch
