Project to rebuild Vaughn Middle School started in June 2024. 

Clark/Sullivan Construction started setting up on June 11^th to prepare for the construction work. As this site is an active construction zone and for the safety of students and the community, we have designated pedestrian paths to walk and cross the streets around the school during the construction phase. Please see the English map and the Spanish map that shows the designated paths. Maps are available in the office at the school.

Highlights:

• A brand-new 3-story school building located on the school's athletic fields. 
• State-of-the-art teaching and learning spaces include 52 teaching stations, a new Family Resource Center, a student collaborative hub, a media center, and a gymnasium. 
• Active construction site while Vaughn Middle School continues operation throughout the building process. 
• Construction began in June 2024.
• The new school has a scheduled completion date of August 2026. 
• The full project has a scheduled completion date of August 2027, which includes demolition of the current school building and construction of new athletic fields in that location.
