Student-led Virtual Town Halls

  • November 17, 2020; December 15, 2020; January 19, 2021

    WCSD hosted three virtual, student-led town halls in collaboration with the Student Advisory Council, Departments of Equity and Diversity, Counseling, and MTSS/Social and Emotional Learning on three topics: Distance Learning, Equity and Inclusion, and Mental Health and Social and Emotional Well-Being. Students facilitated conversations with the more than 350 students in attendance.

5th Annual Strength in Voices Conference

    The WCSD Student Advisory Council and the Student Voice Ambassador Club, in conjunction with the Department of Accountability hosted the 5th Annual Strength in Voices conference! What an honor it was to listen to students, staff and community members discuss strengths and opportunities for growth in WCSD! All breakout sessions during the day were student-led and supported by WCSD staff. Participants learned about some incredible SV projects going on in our district, participated in school improvement workshops, and had tons of fun!!
