School Naming Committee
Mission Statement
As a committee to the Board of Trustees, the School Naming Committee makes recommendations to the Board regarding the naming or renaming of schools, portions of schools, and/or facilities. The Committee operates in accordance with Board Policy 7110, Naming of Schools and Other District Facilities.
Committee applicants must be willing to meet minimum attendance requirements and otherwise adhere to Washoe County School District Board Policies and Regulations.

The School Naming Committee is scheduled to meet 3rd Monday of the month. Meetings of the Committee are held in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building at 5:30 p.m.
