Safe and Healthy Schools Commission
Mission Statement
As a committee to the Board of Trustees, the function of the Safe and Healthy Schools Commission is to assist the Trustees on issues relating to the safety and security of schools, which may include prevention/intervention, mitigation, preparedness, emergency response, and recovery. The Committee operates in accordance with Board Policy 7700, Emergency Management.

The Safe and Healthy Schools Commission generally meets on the 1st Monday of the month throughout the school year. Meetings of the Safe and Healthy Schools Commission are held in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building at 2:00 p.m.
