A Message From Principal Denise Dufrene

May 21, 2019

Dear Families,

This letter is to inform you that I will be out for the rest of the school year.  Sadly, I broke my ankle after the Talent Show.  In order to heal, it does require surgery and extended recovery time.

I am very sad to miss out on the end of the year activities and to see our students off for the summer.  I am especially feeling disappointed that I cannot personally say good-bye to our 5th grade and 6th grade students who will no longer be attending Corbett next year.   Please know how proud I am of them and all the work they have done at Corbett.  Please keep in touch with me and let me know how you are doing in middle school and high school.

While I am out our Dean of Students, Kristie Martin, will be in charge.  After 2 years at Corbett, she is very experienced and competent to handle all matters that may come up in my absence.

Each day, I feel so lucky to work with you and our amazing students.  I will return in August and am already excited to welcome our students back for the 2019-20 school year!

Sincerely,

Denise DuFrene
