HYBRID STUDENTS INVITED TO ATTEND FULL TIME

Hybrid students will be invited to return to the building full time - starting on Monday, April 5.

Nevada now allows 75% of capacity. We will stay at less than 75% of capacity with 3 feet spacing between students, and 6 feet spacing between the teacher and students.

 

March 29 – survey sent to hybrid students so they can indicate their choice.

March 29 – April 2 – School revises schedules and contacts families.

April 5 – Hybrid students may start to attend in-person every day.

 

Distance leaners will remain on full distance until further notice.

 

ON-LINE REGISTRATION

Every year, every student’s family must register for school the next school year.

*Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal

*Click on "More" in the list you see to the left.

*Click Online Registration

*Select "Click here to go to existing student registration"

This is very important. The number of registered students affects how many teachers Vaughn gets.

 

DRESS CODE

After spring break, we will return to full dress code. Previously, students could wear outside jackets due to COVID and no lockers this year.

**Plain/solid navy or grey polo with or without Vaughn logo

**Plain/solid navy or grey polo with or without Vaughn logo

**Plain black or khaki pants/shorts/skirts.

**Only grey, navy, or white long sleeves may be underneath the polo.

 

SBAC TESTING

SBAC testing in Math and ELA is required for all students, in-person and distance.

Science testing is required for all 8th grade students.

Testing will start on A-days during the week of April 5. More information will be sent home.

 

*Distance learners will take SBAC tests. Information on dates and times will be sent home next week.

 

INQUIRER – IB Learner Profile attribute for April -

We are naturally curious to learn and understand. We develop skills to inquire, research and find out why. We learn with enthusiasm and become life-long learners.

 

INTRAMURALS will start soon. Both distance and in-person learners will be able to participate.
