Details: 

Trustees will discuss possible action to approve, modify, and/or enter into the written “Employment Agreement – Superintendent of Schools” between WCSD Board of Trustees and Mr. Joseph Ernst on behalf of the Washoe County School District.

Members of the Board will hear a presentation and discuss the Fiscal Year 2024-25 tentative budget for all district funds, consider possible direction to the superintendent and staff, and may take action to approve the final budget.

Trustees will discuss school lunch programs and possible approval of the child nutrition programs cost-reimbursable contract with Aramark Educational Services, LLC.   

The Board will hear presentations on the new logo and mascot for Cold Springs Early Childhood Center and Debbie Smith Career and Technical Education (CTE) Academy High School.

The Board will hear a presentation and read a proclamation honoring May 2024 as Mental Health Awareness Month.
