WCSD Opens Public Survey as 
Trustees Consider Candidates for Superintendent

Reno, NV (April 26, 2024) – The Washoe County School District (WCSD) Board of Trustees is offering members of the community the opportunity to provide their input and feedback via an anonymous online survey as Trustees prepare to select a new superintendent to lead the district. Five candidates are under consideration for the position. 

To fill out the survey, visit www.washoeschools.net/superintendentsearch. The survey will be remain open through May 3, and results will be posted on May 8. 

A public event was held on April 25 at Wooster High School where students, staff members, families, and members of the community at large had the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates. 

A livestream of the community meeting is available online at www.washoeschools.net/superintendentsearch, along with biographical information and qualifications of the five candidates, a livestream of the Board of Trustees meeting where Trustees are interviewing candidates, and links to agendas of prior Board meetings where the superintendent search was discussed.

Trustees are scheduled to make their final selection during the public Board meeting on Tuesday, May 14.
