Statement from Washoe County School District Superintendent Dr. Kristen McNeill 

September 18, 2020 -- On behalf of Washoe County School District, I would like to congratulate former Nevada Governor, Brian Sandoval as the newly appointed President of the University of Nevada, Reno. We look forward to our continued and strong relationship with the University.

Additionally, I would also like to congratulate Dr. Melody Rose in her new role as the Nevada System of Higher Education Chancellor.

We look forward to working with these two leaders in their new roles and our continued partnership as we work to strengthen education systems across the state through local, regional, and statewide collaboration.
