WCSD Invites Public to Participate in
“Virtual Community Conversation”
What: Members of the community are encouraged to participate in the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) online Community Conversation.
Members of the Board of Trustees will join Interim Superintendent Dr. Kristen McNeill to answer questions submitted by community members, students, families, and staff.
When: Monday, October 21
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Participants may visit http://bit.ly/wcsdvirtualforum to view the conversation. They may also email questions to questions@washoeschools.net before and during the forum.
Staff will moderate the questions and relay them to Trustees and Dr. McNeill.
Details: As part of The Pathway to Positive Progress plan, Dr. McNeill is working to improve employee morale, track improvement, and invite input from employees and stakeholders. This online forum is an important part of that ongoing effort.
Editors' Notes: This is the fifth Community Conversation hosted by Dr. McNeill and members of the WCSD Board of Trustees.
The virtual forum will be streamed live on YouTube, which may be accessed on a computer, cell phone, or tablet. District leaders will answer as many questions as possible in real time, and staff members will follow up with participants after the forum if they are unable to address their questions during the event.
WCSD looks forward to welcoming members of the community to share their questions.
