National Merit Scholarship
Reno, NV (June 5, 2019) – The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced that a senior from Incline High School has been awarded a college-sponsored scholarship beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.
Paul Anthony Larson will receive an annual award ranging from $500 to $2,000 for up to four years of undergraduate study at Arizona State University, which is financing the scholarship. He plans to study aerospace engineering.
"Paul Larson is an outstanding young man," said Incline High School Principal Andrew Yoxsimer. "He is an all-around great student, and a very good mathematician and scientist. We are all so proud of him, and congratulate him on earning this scholarship."
This year, 173 higher education institutions are underwriting Merit Scholarships through the National Merit Scholarship Program. Sponsor colleges and universities include 95 private and 78 public institutions located in 43 states and the District of Columbia.
