Townhall Meeting Scheduled to Discuss New Middle School and
Other Projects Planned for Sun Valley
Media Invited to Gather Information in Advance of Meeting
What: The Washoe County School District is holding a townhall meeting to discuss plans for a new middle school in Sun Valley, the Wildcreek Project (a new high school) that would serve Sun Valley students, and other ways in which the District is planning to improve schools. The public meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Esther Bennett Elementary School.
Members of the media are invited to learn more about the proposed plans prior to the meeting. The District will have a spokesperson available on Friday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to noon, and can also provide access to video (including drone video) and still shots of the site.
