 Student Success Goal

School Goal: Lemmon Valley students will exhibit performance that shows achieving higher proficiency (Level 3 or 4) in both ELA & Math with the SBAC. In 2023-24, AGP data will show an 8-10% increase of students will meet state catch-up targets in ELA & Math.

To support students to achieve this goal, we will:

  1. Implement High Quality planning and instructional practices for Grade Level learning with instructional coaching. Areas of focus to support and advance instruction will be in reading, writing, speaking, listening, math and language skills to accelerate learning.
  2. Align all instruction, Common Formative Assessments (CFA), and success criteria rubrics to Standards to ensure Fair and Consistent Grading practice for communicating student learning.
  3. Utilize Professional Learning Communities (PLC) to analyze students’ learning performance to make data-driven instructional decisions to support all students’ learning needs.
  4. Implement iReady Diagnostics for both ELA and Math Assessments and utilize iReady Pathway learning for each student’s individual academic needs.

Student, Staff, and Family Partnerships Goal

Greater presence of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practices integrated into the classroom and school environment by increasing the number of observable Teacher and Student SEL practices and positive reinforcement engagement. Decrease in percentage of Chronic Absenteeism to reflect less than or equal to 10% students chronically absent.

To support students and families to achieve this goal, we will:

  1. Implement research-based Social Emotional Learning curriculum and a School Wide Positive Behavior Incentive System to promote a positive learning environment for all students.
  2. Conduct regular Walkthrough observations of classrooms to help support and provide feedback to staff to accelerate learning and maintain consistency for SEL implementation school wide.
  3. Monitor and conduct monthly Attendance Checks, school-wide attendance incentives and rewards to reduce chronic absenteeism.
