Join us at these FREE and informative learning sessions for Families.  These learning sessions provide tips and ideas for families to be shared at home. Every session has FREE childcare for children 2 years and older and interpretation in Spanish. Supporting Literacy Skills at Home – Where do I start? This session will provide ways you can support your child’s reading at home.  Participants will walk away with examples and ideas of how you can help your child write and retell what they have read. This event is for K  – 5thgrade families.

Keeping up with Technology to Improve Communication with your Child's School This session will teach participants very basic computer skills focus on:
  • Internet browsing
  • Create and use an email account

9:00am- 10:30 am  Bailey Charter School Do you know what the Parent Tool Kit has to offer? The Parent Toolkit has tips and guides to help you support your child’s Social & Emotional growth and development at home.  During this session, we will explore the Parent Toolkit website.  The website has information and resources around academics, health, and social and emotional development of children.
