In a digital world, students need regular opportunities to learn how to stay safe and act appropriately online. WCSD educates students in "digital citizenship" skills to help prepare them to participate productively in the 21st Century online world.
A good digital citizen recognizes the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of living, learning, and working in an interconnected digital world, and they act and model in ways that are safe, legal and ethical. The WCSD Digital Citizenship Curriculum is taught beginning in grade K through grade 12 with appropriate concepts to help students develop these skills.
