Mr. Kivi - Social Studies

  • I am so excited for this opportunity to teach at Reno High. I am class of '01 alum and UNR graduate. I have been a part of the Reno wrestling coaching staff for the past eighteen years. My family and I are constantly on the move, involved in numerous outdoor activities depending on the season. I look forward to working with and meeting the entire RHS staff and students over the next several months.

  • Hi, to the Reno High community. My name is Matt Albrecht and I am excited to join the Reno High counseling team for the upcoming school year. I'm in my 11th year as a school counselor and I'm coming over from Reed High. I live with my family in the Reno High zone. When not at work, we are often out enjoying the outdoors. I look forward to getting to know and working with staff, students, and families of Reno High. Stay well during these difficult times.

  • I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to work with the amazing math team at Reno High! I am an alumni of Reno High School and am a recent graduate of UNR through the Nevada Teach program. When I'm not in the classroom, I spend my time outside taking pictures, camping, and playing with my pets. I look forward to being a Huskie again and meeting all of the students at Reno High.

  • My name is Debbie Hamlin and I have been part of the Reno High family for many years having a daughter who graduated in 2014, another daughter in 2016, and my son graduating this year. I currently teach 3rd grade and will be teaching 5th grade in the fall. I grew to love coaching cheer when I coached my daughter while she was on SYFL and I have enjoyed watching her take cheer beyond high school as a 4th year UNR cheerleader. I believe that cheer helps build confidence and promotes an active lifestyle while being an important part of the spirit in our schools. I look forward to a great year!

Mr. Phillips - Site Facilities Coordinator

  • My name is Rodney. I have two sones, Tristan (8) and Jonathan (4) whom I spend most of my time with. We love to go fishing and hiking/exploring. I have been with the school district for 7 years, a supervisor for 5 of those years. I can't wait to work with all of you.

Mr. Jamieson - Head Groundskeeper

  • I am a Reno High alum along with my wife and 3 of my 6 children. I have 19 grandchildren. I played basketball at Reno High and went on to play in college. I am a competitive waterskier. My passions are my family, waterskiing, any outdoor activity but especially if it involves being in the mountains. For the past 7 years, I have taken care of all outdoor spaces on the RHS campus. I take great pride in this school and its heritage.

  • Hi again! I am beyond excited to be returning to Reno High after a year at another high school as an Assistant Principal. I have been a Reno Huskie for many years now-as a previous student, former teacher (English and Student Leadership), and Dean. I am looking forward to reconnecting with the phenomenal staff, amazing students and families, and the Reno High community as a whole. My family includes my husband Mike, our son Kane, and daughter Bianca. Our family is happy to be back with the Reno High family. Go Huskies!

  • My name is Jessica Crosby, and I am so excited to finally be joining the Reno High team. For as long as I can remember, I have been a part of Reno High School. As a child at Reno High, you could find me doing cartwheels and yelling to hear my voice in the dome, or chatting it up with Kookie. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to be a part of something much more than just doing cartwheels in the yellow-tiled hallways. Reno High is a such an amazing school filled with staff whose sole purpose os to impact today's youth in an uplifting and positive manner. My family includes my husband, Garrett, my daughter, Aurora and our sweet Golden-Chow Retriever, Neji.

  • Hello! I am beyond excited to join the Reno High community. I was born and raised in Reno, and I love this city. This upcoming year will be my sixth year teaching. When I'm not changing newborn's diapers, I enjoy spending time with my family fishing the mighty Truckee. I look forward to working with the Reno High staff and students.

  • Hello, RHS. I'm pretty stoked to be a par tof the Huskie family. My name is Javier Mendez and I'm your new assistant grounds keeper! A little bit about myself and my family (wife Jackie and son Kai). We are big-time camping, outdoorsy people; we can't get enough of it. I'm also big on snowboarding. We are very involved in our community from attending games and showing up to clean up downtown. We love this place. Telling people you work at Reno HS is going to sound pretty awesome. Don't be afraid to say hi; I'm a pretty friendly person. Go Huskies!

  • Hi, my name is Elizabeth Costa. I have worked in the WCSD since 2010 in different departments, but the most rewarding for me has been in the Special Education department. I am a grandmother of three, with my last entering his senior year. I enjoy hiking, spending time at the lake and any other activities that take me outdoors.

  • I am excited for the opportunity to return to Reno High School not as a parent, but as your College and Career Center counselor. My son Daniel graduated in 2018; we both enjoyed the time he was a Huskie.The amazing staff at Reno High have helped us so much and now it is my opportunity to give back. I look forward to building lasting and meaningful relationships with students and staff. I love to roller skate, and most Sunday nights you can find me skating at Roller Kingdon for adult night.
