• Welcome!

     Hello students and families!

Welcome to “distant learning!” During this new and challenging adventure, I will work hard to keep you and your family updated on any and all information concerning your educational needs. Our team at Mathews is working hard to ensure that each and every student is getting the necessary information, tools, and resources needed to make this transition as smooth as possible.

We can stay connected through email, phone, and the "Remind" app. If you have not already done so please connect with me through the "Remind app"; I will send you information on how to connect with me via Remind if you have not already done so.

My Office Hours

  • Just like many of you, I have children of my own at home who will also need my assistance with school work. The following schedule is fluid and flexible, meaning it can be changed to help those that need different times and days due to their working schedule.

    Monday through Friday:     9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursdays:  12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  (these hours are for those who work outside of the home and may have questions outside of the 9:00 to 4:00 p.m.)

Should you contact me outside of these hours I will return your message within 24 hours (most likely sooner😊).

  • Attendance:

Per the Nevada Department of Education it is important that I am able to connect with you 1 to 2 times a week. This includes a text, an email, or a brief call from me or another staff member. All contacts must be made prior to Thursdays by 4:00 p.m., as I am obligated to turn this information (contact log) over to my administrator.
