Tiffany McMaster, M.Ed.
Superintendent Tiffany McMaster, M.Ed. is a lifelong Washoe County resident and has served as a member of the Washoe County School District since 1998.
Appointed as deputy superintendent in 2024, McMaster’s experience encompasses every education level throughout the district, beginning her career as a middle school math teacher. Her love of education and desire to serve led her to roles as a principal at Westergard Elementary School, Traner Middle School and AACT High School, before becoming the lead superintendent in 2022.
Superintendent McMaster is committed to collaboration and innovation as she continues working with parents, teachers, community leaders and the WCSD team to elevate educational opportunities for all Washoe County students. McMaster possesses two master’s degrees in teaching and education administration, and earned her bachelor’s degree in education at the University of Nevada, Reno.
