Welcome to Student Activities

 MISSION STATEMENT
The mission and purpose of extracurricular and athletic programs in the Washoe County School District is to promote the physical, mental, moral, social and emotional growth of its participants. The Student Activity and Athletic Department ensures a positive force in the preparation of our youth for an enriching extra-curricular experience. The Student Activity & Athletic Department is an integral part of the total school program. We are strongly connected to the academic success of every student, regardless of individual differences. The student gives their time, energy, loyalty and commitment by participating in the programs offered by the Student Activities & Athletics Department.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

DoCRC (OCR) Training Sessions for the 2025–2026 School Year

All coaches for the Washoe County School District (WCSD) for the 2025–2026 school year are required to complete DoCRC (OCR) Training prior to the start of their athletic season.

This training is a 1-hour, in-person session, and certification is valid for three years.

Please select the training date that works best for you and register using the link provided. When registering, be sure to include your email address, cell phone number, school, sport, and coaching position.

Please note that no additional DoCRC training sessions are scheduled for the current school year.
