The Reed Raider Battalion is already hit the deck-plates running for the 2026-2027 school year. It is going to be another busy and productive year competing within the district and supporting our local community. A handful of our Cadets have been active during summer break, being at leadership camp and supporting several community organizations. This year, the Cadets will be working hard to go above and beyond serving our community, taking on projects large and small, supporting groups like; Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and Nevada Food Bank. Our Cadets on the Specialty Teams- Drill, Drone, Air Rifle, and Color Guard will be working hard in preparation for our first competitions and ready to make a positive impact. The Raiders value team-bonding and will continue their tradition of hosting several JROTC get-togethers and parties over the year. This gives the Cadets not only a reward for their hard work, but a place to relax and get to know each other better. The Raider Battalion of 2026-2027 is eager and more than ready to meet this year’s challenges head on. HOO-YAH RAIDERS!
