This is an extremely physically demanding competition team that teaches: Ethical Values and Good Citizenship, Leadership Potential, Effective Communication and Logical Thinking, Improved Physical Fitness, Incentive to live drug-free, Positive Self-Motivation and Management, the skills to work as a team member, and motivation to graduate from high school and pursue a successful career.
Cadets compete in teams of 10 members and three categories: Male team, Female Team and Mixed Team. The competition season is normally held during the Fall and consists of four meets, including the Nevada State Raider Championship.
Physical Team Test

The Physical Team Test (PTT) consists of a half-mile course that the 8 member Raider team negotiates together. The course consists of tunnel crawl, a weighted individual carry of items, a running agility course, foot agility course, individual atlas ball lift, 40" vault, 250lb weighted team carry and tractor tire flip.
Cross Country Rescue

The Cross Country Rescue (CCR) is a team event over a 1 mile course with teams negotiating the course in the shortest possible time. The CCR simulates the rescue of an injured teammate with the team carrying (3) weighted ruck sacks and a 250 lb weighted litter as a simulated casualty. The team must also negotiate an 8' wall and a low crawl obstacle during the course.
5k Team Run
Nothing complicated about the Team 5k run - negotiate the course as a team in the shortest time possible!
Rope Bridge

The Rope Bridge is the most technical Raider competition event. The Rope Bridge simulates a dry stream crossing with the construction of a one rope bridge where team members then hook onto the rope using a snap link and Swiss seat system and pull themselves across the simulated water obstacle in the shortest time possible.
