Student Voice

 

 

 

The annual WCSD Student Voice took place on May 8th, 2026.  This year's conference returned to Truckee-Meadows Community College. The day kicked off with a welcome speech from Deputy superintendent Tiffany McMaster and WCSD Board of Trustees President Adam Mayberry to over 240 Students and advisors in attendance.  We followed the welcome up with an activity highlighting the importance of communication amongst all stake holders.  Students and advisors then went to sessions talking about a number of topics that including discussions about culture, safety and connectedness.  We then had a phenomenal lunch from Cane's and listened to a town hall from members of the WCSD Student Advisory Council followed by one series of student led sessions.  Thank you to everyone who attended, presented, supported and most importantly took to heart the feedback from the incredible students of WCSD.  We look forward to seeing you all next year!
