  At this time, the “Critical Needs” position designation is no longer in use. Retirees returning to the district are hired in a substitute capacity.

  While a limited number of temporary Critical Labor Shortage (CLS) positions may be available this year, these roles—and their associated pay rates—are not guaranteed beyond the current school year. Future opportunities will follow the standard substitute compensation structure.
