Substitute Quick Guide to Red Rover

To-Do:

1. Download the free Red Rover Mobile App!
   You can find Red Rover's free mobile app by searching for “Red Rover K12” in Google's Play Store or Apple's App Store. Log in with the same credentials you used to log in online and start getting push notifications to accept available jobs! 2. Enter non-work days:
   Click on Manage Availability in the left menu, and add any days you do not wish to work. Red Rover will not send you jobs for days that you've marked as a “Non-recurring Event”. Here's a guide on managing your availability.
    
3. Setup your School Preferences:
   Click on the School Preferences tab in the left menu, and choose which schools are favorites, and which schools are “hidden”.  Here's a guide on setting up your school preferences.
   1. “Hiding” a school will hide all jobs from that location in your list of available jobs. 
   2. “Favoriting” a school does not automatically hide jobs from other locations.

FAQs:

• How will I be notified of available jobs?
  If you've downloaded the free Red Rover app, you'll be notified of available jobs via push notification. If you have not downloaded the Red Rover App, you'll be notified of available jobs via SMS text. Check out our guides on push notifications for Android and iOS (Apple) or SMS texting to learn more. 
   
• Can I sync Red Rover with my device's calendar?
  Yes you can! Here's a great resource on how to do so: Mobile Device Calendar (iOS and Android) + Red Rover App Integration
   
• How do I hide jobs from certain schools?
  Click on School Preferences in the left menu, then click the EDIT button. Choose “Hide” next to any school you do not wish to see jobs at.
   
• What if I work in multiple districts?
  If you sub in multiple districts, no worries! Just use the same email address in all your districts and Red Rover will automatically link all your accounts together in one unified view. No need to manage multiple passwords or usernames :)
   
• I'm having app notification issues. How do I fix this?
  The type of notification issue you're experiencing depends on your device settings, and Red Rover settings. Here are some great guides on troubleshooting notification issues:

• Can I get texts and app notifications for jobs at the same time?
  Not at this time, no. Downloading the Red Rover App will replace text notifications for jobs. If you prefer to receive texts for jobs, simply log out of the app on your device, then delete it. This will resume text notifications for jobs.
