To-Do:
Enter your Classroom info.
Click on Classroom Info in the left menu, and add information for subs that will be working in your classroom! Make it a better experience for everyone. Here's a handy guide on how to do so: Setup Classroom Info for Subs.
Choose your favorite subs.
If your district allows, click on Sub Preferences, and click Add next to any sub you'd like to get first crack at filling your absences. Here's a great resource on how to do so: Setting up Sub Preferences - Adding Favorite Subs
Download the free Red Rover Mobile App!
You can find Red Rover's free mobile app by searching for “Red Rover K12” in Google's Play Store or Apple's App Store. Use your Red Rover login credentials to log in :) Make sure to check out our guides on Getting Started as an Employee on the Red Rover Mobile App for Android and iOS.
Update your Profile and Notification Preferences.
Click on your initials in the upper right corner, select “My Profile." From here, you can upload a photo, and adjust your email notification preferences. Here's a handy guide: Notifications for Employees
Make sure your schedule is correct.
Click on the MY SCHEDULE tab in the menu, then select REGULAR SCHEDULE in the sub menu. If you see a problem with your schedule, reach out to the Substitute Office with any concerns.

How do I create an absence?
Click on the date of your absence on the calendar, choose your reason, your times, and click Quick Create.
I work as an Employee and as a Sub. How do I switch between the two?
If you have multiple “roles" in the district, you can switch between them by clicking on the “role-switcher" in the top left corner of your screen (Ex. Switch from “Employee” to “Substitute”).
