✅Complete Adobe Sign New Hire Packet electronically   

• You will receive an email from Adobe Sign on behalf of your HR Generalist. Please open the email and click the link to complete this packet electronically.
  • This must be done before your fingerprints are completed.

✅ Fingerprinting/Clearance  

⚠ Complete your Adobe Sign New Hire Packet before getting fingerprinted.

All new employees are required to be fingerprinted prior to their first day of work 

Fingerprinting is completed at Fingerprinting Express: 

• Upon arrival you will be required to show THIS FORM. You may present this from your mobile device or print a copy to bring. 
•  You may either schedule an appointment by CLICKING HERE or walk-ins are welcome.
• Bring a valid ID (State ID or passport) to your appointment. 
• Once your fingerprinting is completed, Fingerprint Express will provide you with a completed form. Please bring this form to your in-person meeting with your HR Generalist. 
• Cost of fingerprinting will be deducted from paycheck.

✅ Complete I-9

Federal law requires all employees to complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification process.

 Step 1: Complete I-9 Part 1 Online

• CLICK HERE  to complete Part 1 of the I-9 form prior to your meeting with HR Generalist.

• Please use your full legal name exactly as it appears on your identification documents

Step 2: Gather your Identification Documents for your HR Meeting

During your in-person meeting with HR, you must present original identification documents for verification.

You may provide:

OPTION 1

One document from List A

• Example: U.S. Passport or Permanent Resident Card  or

OPTION 2

One document from List B and One document from List C
Examples include:

• List B: Driver’s License or State ID
• List C: Social Security Card or Birth Certificate

 ✅ Payroll Forms

W-4 Tax Form

ℹ️ Employees may complete the W-4 form prior to their appointment. The completed form must be submitted during your in-person meeting with your HR Generalist.

There are also forms that are optional. If you wish to submit these they are required to be printed, physically signed and brought to your in-person meeting.  

• • • Direct Deposit Enrollment (optional - if this form is completed you also must bring a voided check or letter from your bank with your routing and account number) 
    • Self-Reporting Form - Administrative Form HR-F617 (Required only if you have a charge, arrest, or conviction of a crime that was NOT already reported on your employment application)

✅ Photo for Badge

Please email a photo to use for your badge to your HR Generalist. If you are unable to email a photo, a badge photo will be taken at your in-person appointment. See Support Team Listing (Click on your Generalist name to be directed to their email address) 

Use the following criteria for your photo: 

1. A good likeness of your current appearance, taken within the last six months. 

2. Your photo must be a clear image of ONLY you (not blurry, grainy, or fuzzy) against a plain background. 

3. The photo must be a full face-and-shoulders shot, squarely facing the camera. 

4. You must use a portrait (not landscape) photo that is correctly oriented. 

5. You must be facing the camera. 

6. You cannot wear a hat or dark glasses. 

7. It must be in JPEG file format. 

✅ Meet with Your HR Generalist

Meeting location: 

Human Resources - 425 E. Ninth Street, Building A, Reno, NV, 89512 

Directions upon arrival: 

• Enter through the front door on the main building on Ninth St and check in at the front desk.
• Representatives from HR will come meet you

⚠ This appointment must be completed before your first day of work.

During your meeting, you will:

• Turn in your PERS retirement paperwork and W-4.
• Finalize your I-9 verification

📄 Please Bring the following documents:

• your original I-9 verification documents
• your Fingerprinting Express receipt, if applicable

A badge will also be issued at this appointment.
