Premium Coverage
WCSD pays the full premium for eligible employees and their eligible dependents—there is no premium cost for employees.
(Note: Part-time Certified Employees pay a prorated amount based on their FTE.)
You will NOT receive a card for your vision insurance. When accessing vision care, please share your coverage is through VSP in partnership with WCSD.
VSP information:

Please make sure to let your provider know that you will need to bill all services for your household using employee demographic information. For example: your name, your date of birth, your social security number, as your dependent will need to be billed under employee information.

Download the VSP app or go on-line to www.vsp.com and create an account. Doing so will give you access to what services you are currently eligible for, along with access to services, discounts and more.

Vision Benefits Overview
- Eye Examinations: Once every 12 months (from your last date of service)
- Spectacle Lenses: Once every 24 months
- Frames: Once every 24 months
- Co-payment: $10 for the eye examination
Additional charges may apply for:
Blended or oversize lenses, contact lenses, progressive lenses, photochromic or tinted lenses (other than pink 1 or 2), coated or laminated lenses, frames exceeding plan allowance, UV-protected lenses.

Preferred Provider Information
This program includes a Preferred Provider list of eye doctors.
You do not have to use a Preferred Provider, but benefits will be paid at a reduced reimbursement schedule if you choose a Non-Preferred Provider.
