Mentoring

Tribal Youth Advocacy Specialist (TYAS): will be at designated high schools and middle schools providing additional support for our American Indian and Alaskan Native Students with a 506 form on file in a mentoring capacity. TYAS meets with students in a one-to-one setting in their school or through Zoom meetings to provide students' support. 

TYAS supports our students' academic success. Families connect with school staff such as teachers, administrators, school counselors, and support staff in addition to helping families understand their child's progress towards graduation and options for college and careers after high school.
