Please download the attendance log and submit to Extended Studies (once all 60 hours have been completed).

What's New:

  • One Program: All course requirements are now part of a single PE program.
  • Easier Enrollment: No more choosing between two separate paths-one form for all.
  • More Flexibility: Students will have a variety of ways to complete their PE requirements at their own pace.
  • Students submit their 60 hours when they finish. There is no longer a due date nor monthly requirements.
  • Reminders will not be sent.

Important Change:

  • Students can now earn a PE exemption through participation in this program. 60 hours = .5 PE exemption.
  • They will no longer receive PE credit for PE Options.
  • This exemption fulfills the PE requirement needed for high school graduation.

Who Can Participate:

  • Students must be WCSD high school students or enrolled in a district-sponsored charter high school.
  • Students must submit an application using the official application form link.
  • Hours begins once student has submitted their application for an approved activity (see list).

Why the Change:

The Legislative Commission approved amendments to NAC 389.488. See NDE for further details.
