Biography

Deputy Superintendent - Tiffany McMaster

Tiffany McMaster
As a lifelong resident of Washoe County and an educator within Washoe County School District for 26 years, I am honored to serve the students, families, and staff as the Deputy Superintendent in the community I love.  I began my journey with WCSD as a teacher at Edward Pine Middle School.  I served as the K-12 mathematics testing coordinator prior to beginning my administrative career.  I served as Dean of Students at Pine Middle School, an Assistant Principal at Yvonne Shaw Middle School and Archie Clayton Middle School, and then moved into the Principalship, serving at George Westergard Elementary School, Fred Traner Middle School and the Academy of Arts, Careers, and Technology. Prior to becoming the Deputy Superintendent, I served as an Area Superintendent/Associate Chief supporting schools and school leaders.

I have worked together with educators throughout our district to foster positive culture, advocate for students, focus on school improvement efforts, support student learning and growth through Professional Learning Communities, and provided students with opportunities to kickstart their future through the power of Career and Technical Education.

As the Deputy Superintendent, I am proud to be supporting schools and departments in meeting the academic and social needs of our students while opening doors to future opportunities.  As a community, we will work together to support all students in successfully graduating from the Washoe County School District ready to enter the career and/or college pathway of their choice.
