Identified Supports
Accessibility supports allowed for an assessment yield valid results when chosen judiciously and used in a manner consistent with test administration procedures. Supports identified for individual students should be regularly used during instruction and classroom assessments.
Designated supports and English learner supports are available to students for whom the need is identified by a team of educators with student and guardian input or specified in a student's IEP or Section 504 plan.
Testing accommodations should be provided in alignment with a student's IEP or Section 504 plan. Accommodations must be allowed for an assessment to generate valid scores.
