General Information
WIDA ACCESS
The test demo for each grade-level cluster shows students how to navigate different features of the test. Sample items give students a chance to practice answering the type of questions they will see on the test.
Nevada Online Criterion-Referenced Tests (CRT)
The Online Tools Training (OTT) provides interactive practice with tools and sample items matched to the live test platform. The OTT is available for Summative (ELA & Math) and Science assessments. Grade level "Practice Tests" are available for the Summative Smarter Balanced English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments.
Best practices BEFORE testing:
- All students should be provided the opportunity to experience demonstration, training, and practice tests for the assessments they will take and be prepared to engage with their assessment(s) without assistance.
- To the extent possible, students should be instructed in the navigation and tools that will be available when they take their assessment, including additional embedded supports.
- Students and educators should use demonstration, training, and practice tests to become familiar with online test delivery formats (including accommodated versions), sample items, and the overall student experience.
