    UNR is pleased to offer a newly approved ARL Program for Special Education!  Tuition assistance is available for interested students. 

    Capella University

    Capella University is now offering employees of the Washoe County School District over 20 free, self-paced, professional development courses that allow working professionals to earn clock hours and/or graduate credit. Additionally, WCSD employees are eligible for a 10% tuition discount, plus either a $4,000 new student scholarship in Capella’s GuidedPath learning format or 50% off the first session in Capella’s FlexPath learning format.     The Alliance for Virtual Learning:  A new collective of leading K-12 experts dedicated to helping schools navigate distance learning and achieve student success.  
    The Alliance is providing a series of FREE, online interactive events this summer that are designed to help teachers and administrators adapt to the new virtual learning landscape. These sessions will be led by a team of K-12 education experts who will deliver comprehensive insights with the goal of helping attendees create a blueprint for the future of K-12.
