    • Musical instrument tutor: Looking for volunteers to lead music lessons, work around your schedule at the Foster Drive location.
    • Reading Tutor for children must be at least 14.  Mondays and Wednesday afternoons at DWReynolds (2680 E. 9th St.) site. Contact Nichelle, above, for details

    The Northern Nevada R.A.V.E. Family Foundation (NNRFF):  The mission of the NNRFF (R.A.V.E.-an acronym for Respite And Volunteer Experiences) is to improve the well-being of Nevada families by providing respite to families caring for young children and adult family members with special needs.  The NNRFF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, accomplishes this by training youth volunteers to care for these exceptional children and by providing vouchers for families to choose appropriate respite options.  The NNRFF operates the only center-based program in Washoe County that offers respite care for families caring for young children with disabilities and/or special needs. Volunteers are asked to donate 8 hours per month of their time.
