Hello! Currently I teach English language learners, and I've been teaching for about 17 years. I've also taught French and English language arts, at both the middle school and high school levels. I love working with young people because all the possibilities for their future lives inspire me to be the best teacher I can be.

Outside of work, I spend as much time with my family as I can - my husband, two daughters, two stepdaughters and one stepson, and we have a dog and a cat who are fun to play with. I read a lot too - I read many news websites and as many books as I can. I also love to go hiking, which is why I can't get enough of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra mountains. I grew up in California and we came to Reno and Lake Tahoe for our vacations, so I feel very lucky to live here now.
